The Christmas Projects brings joy to families in need each holiday season, thanks to the generosity of sponsors like you. Your kindness can make a lasting impact on a child’s Christmas morning.

What Does It Mean to Be a Sponsor?

As a sponsor, you will be matched with a family needing assistance to provide them with Christmas gifts and essentials. Here’s what’s involved:

  • Choose the Family Size

    Complete a simple application to specify how many families and children you would like to sponsor. ***You will receive your family gift list on or shortly before November 7th

  • Purchase Gifts

    Starting this year and moving forward, we will be using the "FOUR GIFT RULE"....Something You Want - Something You Need - Something To Wear - Something To Read. Each sponsor will be given the list from each family that specifies the gifts in these categories.

  • Provide Necessities for Children and Families

    We will be collecting specific items to put in a stocking for each child as well as other products for the family.  These items will not be purchased by the sponsors since we will be obtaining them through business donations. That list will be on the sponsor application and the Donate Page.

  • Christmas Gift Wrapping Supplies

    We ask that you provide wrapping supplies such as gift paper, gift bags, gift tags and tape for the family to wrap their gifts.

  • Deliver the Gifts for Distribution

    The gifts will need to be delivered to the Amvets,750 5th Street , Chambersburg, PA 17201 on Dec 7th, 8th, 9th between the hours of 9am and 7pm for the families to pick up on their assigned time. 

  • Request To Meet Your Family

    If you would like to meet your family, we will let you know the date and time they will be picking up their gifts and you are welcome to be there.
